Dad's Changing Diapers

I saw this and thought it was so funny. Why do some guys have such a hard time with this? Granted, it isn't the most glorious part of motherhood but it isn't this bad! Bless their hearts!

TEACHER ARRESTED IN NEW YORK -

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F.Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, the Attorney General said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General said. 'They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values.' They use secret code names like 'X' and 'Y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined that they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are 3 sides to every triangle'.

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Obama said, 'If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, he would have given us more fingers and toes.'

White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the President. It is believed that the Nobel Prize for Physics will follow.

1) I love when we are taking a nap together on Mommy and Daddy's bed that you like to get cozy.

2) I love when waking up from napping together that your hand is always on either my neck or on my face.

3) I love when I come get you from naps in your crib that you always greet me with your adorable grin.

4) I love how much you love music. You can be crying and so sad and I will turn on music and you will start to sing.

5) I love your BEAUTIFUL little voice. Whether you are cooing, talking or singing, it is the sweetest thing I have ever heard.

6) I love how excited you get when you hear Daddy's voice on the phone and how happy you get when he gets home from work. You sure do love to cuddle and take naps with Daddy, too.

7) I love that you are my little cuddly monkey and my forever friend.

8) I love how strong and determined you are. Whether it is lifting your cast covered legs or now your feet that have braces on them, you will continue to try until you can do it.

9) I love how you have a way of making every one around you love them. There isn't one person who you have smiled at that hasn't joined your fan club. Your sweetness warms people's hearts and you win them over.

10) I love looking at the world through your eyes...with all of its joys and possibilities. Every thing is new and exciting. I can see you soaking in all of your surroundings, learning from them and finding happiness in the experience.

Happy Mothers Day

This time last year we had just found out we were pregnant and Michael and I had decided not to tell any one for a bit. Because of our previous miscarriages we wanted to wait until we had an ultrasound before telling our parents. Needless to say, it was the hardest secret I have EVER had to keep!! I was so excited to be pregnant and it was Mothers Day! Even though it was hard to keep it on the down low, it was also fun to have it just be our news for a few weeks.

This last year has been one of the most physically difficult years of my life but I wouldn't trade it for the world because we have our little monkey, Sophia, to show for it. I'm so happy to be her Mom. I may not be Super Mom but I love that little gal with all that I have in me. She is my joy and my greatest accomplishment. We sure do love our little gal.

I'm also so grateful for a wonderful mother and mother-in-law. I am so blessed with wonderful examples of mothers in my life. How did I get so blessed?!

Why God Made Moms

1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.

1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.

1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my mom eats a lot.

2. She got too old to do anything else with him.

1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.

What's the difference between moms and dads?

1. Moms work at work and work at home but dads just go to work at work.

3. Dads are taller and stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friends.

What does your mom do in her spare time?

1. Mothers don't do spare time.

2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your mom perfect?

1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.

2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.

If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?

1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.

2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it not me..

3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Dear Employees:

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead.

This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.

So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change........ I gave it to them.

I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

A Funny From My MIL

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly, God was tired of hearing all the bickering. Finally fed up, God said, "THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will judge who does the better job."

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.
They faxed.
They e-mailed.
They e-mailed with attachments.
They downloaded.
They did spreadsheets!
They wrote reports.
They created labels and cards.
They created charts and graphs.
They did some genealogy reports.
They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell. Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off. Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld. Jesus just sighed.

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

'It's gone! It's all GONE! 'I lost everything when the power went out!'

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work.

Satan observed this and became irate. 'Wait!' he screamed. 'That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?'

God just shrugged and said,

'JESUS SAVES'

Bloody Brilliant!

I am so excited for this movie! I'm sure Larkin, Blecky and Kik are so proud that I'm hooked. I didn't immediately jump on the Harry Potter band wagon. It took me a while to see what all of the fuss was about. It wasn't until I saw the 5th movie that I decided to read the books. It will be interesting to see how they divide the last book into two movies. I'm sure there will be a major cliff hanger in Part 1. I just hope they stay true to the books as much as possible. I was disappointed that they left out the big fight scene at the end of the 6th book in the movie as well as Dumbledore's funeral. Enjoy the sneak peak!
