I Vant To Punch You Out

I saw this and laughed my bootie off! Before all the members of the Twilight fan club get their panties in a twist, I am a big lover of the series. Read them all. Loved them all. But I still recognize something funny when I see it. Just like video from this previous post as well as this:

So funny! My hubby can recognize bits of me in the last video. I didn't start reading them until the fourth book came out. They were so good that I read them all one after the other. Many a night he would awaken to find me reading with my book light. It would be 3:00am and he would wake up and say something like, "Good book?" or "Can't put it down yet, eh?" or just laugh and turn over. I'm glad he laughs at my slightly obsessed behavior instead of getting annoyed. He's great like that. Anyhoo. Enjoy the funnies!

Hey Bart Bart...

I saw this on a friends FB profile and laughed. This is for anyone who loves Yogi Bear and the Simpsons. I thought it was good times. I may need psychological help though. Enjoy!

Is It June Yet?

Is anyone else out there excited for this....?

New Moon was my least favorite book but the movie definitely made that part of the story more palatable for me. So, as far as I'm concerned, it is all uphill from here with Eclipse. Hopefully they will stay true to the story as much as possible so it won't ruin what I hope to be the best movie yet. So, is it June yet? ;]

Swaptastic!

So, recently I participated in a blog swap. It was so much fun! How lucky was I to be given this gal as a swap partner!?! She is truly one of a kind, a sister from another mister and a kindred kooky kool kat. We have a ton in common and I'm excited to have made a new friend. The idea of the swap was to give our favorite things. She has good tastes. She also gives good treats. Here is a picture of all the goodies I scored:
Before

After

I may have eaten one of the chocolate suckers right after the picture was taken and it was divine! :] I just might have to go out and buy some more. They were so good!! The bows...darling! Sophia is going to look so cute in them. And after trying out the lip glosses, Michael said my lips looked lip-tastic. Lots of good times in this package. Thanks for my fun treats!

Also, if you are interested, here is a link to her blog on what I sent her. If you have never participated in a swap, you really should give it a try. It is a darn good time. Thanks also goes to Mamarazzi for hosting!

What's A Mom to Do?

Sophia was getting on such a great schedule. She was sleeping 6-7 hours each night. I guess I counted myself lucky too soon because this week she just won't stay asleep! Last night she went down around 8:30pm. I was so tired and started winding down earlier than usual thinking I would finally try to get to bed before midnight. Boy, was I wrong!! She woke up around 11:30pm. I fed and changed her and then tried rocking her back to sleep. She wouldn't have it. All she wanted to do was bounce and talk. (By talk I mean we do the copycat thing where she makes a sound and I copy it. She LOVES it!) Anyhoo. She kept doing it and looking at me for a response. I obliged her whilst trying to calm her down and get her back to sleep. Normally I love it but when 2am finally hit, Mommy was tired! So I tried to cozy with her on the LoveSac, on the couch, fed her again, changed her and finally put her in bed with us. She kept talking away! She finally fell asleep at around 5am. Poor Michael had to get up at 5:30am. I felt horrible that she kept waking him up but I was at my wits end and couldn't function anymore. (This coming from the gal who, in my single days, could pull all nighters and work a full day the next day. What can I say?! I'm getting old I guess.) Anyhoo. I just needed to vent for a small moment or two. I keep reading that she is still too young for tough love...letting her cry it out in her crib...but some nights she is just so wired and can't calm down. I wonder if it has something to do with her anti-seizure medicines. Anyhoo. I try to stick to a bedtime routine to help her know it is bedtime but she is having a tough time going to sleep and staying that way lately. Any advice people have would be happily accepted. (Just please, no criticism.) Thanks!
